Understanding Action RPG Movement

Instead of using WASD keys to move, Isocraft lets you point your mouse cursor where you want to go and hold down the mouse button to walk there automatically. This mimics classic dungeon crawlers and action RPGs.

Basic Movement

Simply move your mouse cursor to the location on screen where you want your character to go, then hold down the left mouse button. Your character will walk toward that spot. Release the button to stop. You can hold the button continuously to keep moving, or tap and release repeatedly for short movements.

Combining with Camera

Since the camera is top-down, you see a wide area around your character. This makes it easy to navigate around obstacles and plan your path. Point at distant locations and your character will pathfind toward them naturally.

You can still use the keyboard for other actions like jumping, opening inventory, or placing blocks—only movement is mouse-directed.
