Place a Mounted Turret

Mounted turrets and anti-air defense weapons protect your base from hostile mobs and players. Craft a turret using steel, aluminum, and mechanical components at the Gun Smithing Table. Place it on a solid block in a strategic location—high ground, near entrances, or overlooking valuable areas.

Load and Configure the Turret

Right-click the turret to open its interface. Insert a compatible magazine loaded with ammunition. Set the turret's targeting parameters:

• Target type – hostile mobs, players, or both
• Fire range – how far the turret shoots
• Firing mode – semi, burst, or automatic

Optimize Placement

Position turrets to cover multiple approach angles. Anti-air turrets work best on elevated structures to track flying threats. Create overlapping fields of fire for redundancy—if one turret is destroyed, others continue defending.

Maintain Your Defenses

Check turret ammunition regularly and replace empty magazines. Repair damaged turrets with steel and aluminum at a crafting table. Rotate turret positions seasonally or after raids to keep attackers guessing. Combine turrets with walls and barriers for a complete defensive perimeter.
