Reorder Shaders in Your Selection Menu

Custom Shader Ordering

Arrange your shader packs in a custom order instead of alphabetical. This helps you group favorites together or organize by category.

Setting Up Reorder Rules

1. Open your mod's configuration file

2. Find the reorder or sort rules section

3. List shader pack names in the order you want them to appear

4. Shaders listed first appear at the top of your menu

5. Shaders not listed in your custom order typically appear after ordered ones (behavior depends on config)

6. Save and reload the shader menu in-game

Organization Ideas

  • Place your most-used shaders at the top for quick access
  • Group similar shaders together (e.g., all realistic packs, then all stylized ones)
  • Put experimental or test shaders at the bottom
  • Use the reorder feature alongside hiding to create a focused, personalized menu

Your custom order persists across game sessions, making shader selection faster and more intuitive.
