Reload Your Configuration Without Restarting
Real-Time Config Updates
Test and tweak your shader menu settings instantly without closing and reopening Minecraft.
How to Reload
1. Make changes to your mod's configuration file (hide rules, reorder, colors, tooltips)
2. Save the file
3. Open your shader menu in-game (press the shader button in Iris/Oculus settings)
4. The menu automatically reflects your changes
5. If changes don't appear, try closing and reopening the shader menu once
Troubleshooting
- Check the debug log if changes aren't showing up
- Ensure your config file is saved properly before checking the menu
- Verify your syntax matches the expected format (especially for regex patterns)
- If you're unsure about a rule, check the mod's debug output for validation errors
Workflow Tip
Keep your config file open in a text editor while testing. Make small changes, save, and reload the menu to see results immediately. This makes organizing and customizing your shader list much faster than traditional trial-and-error.
