Hide Shader Packs from Your Menu
Using Hide Rules
Keep your shader menu clean by hiding packs you don't use. The mod lets you hide shaders by exact name match, version number, or regex pattern for advanced filtering.
How to Hide Shaders
1. Open your mod's configuration file (usually in .minecraft/config/ or the mod's config folder)
2. Locate the hide rules section
3. Add an entry with the shader pack name exactly as it appears in your menu
4. For version-specific hiding, include the version string in your rule
5. If you need flexible matching, use regex patterns (e.g., .*_old.* to hide all packs with "_old" in the name)
6. Save the config file
7. Reload the shader menu in-game without restarting
Tips
- Hidden shaders aren't deleted—they're just invisible in the menu
- Use regex for bulk hiding (e.g., hide all beta or test versions at once)
- Test your patterns carefully to avoid accidentally hiding packs you want
- Check the debug log if a shader isn't hiding as expected
