Rotate Items for Precise Positioning

Fine Rotation with Alt + Mouse Wheel

For detailed control over item angles, use fine rotation mode to adjust items in small increments.

Steps:

1. Place an item on a surface using V

2. While looking at the placed item, hold Alt and scroll your mouse wheel

3. Scroll up to rotate the item in one direction; scroll down to rotate in the opposite direction

4. Make small adjustments by scrolling slowly for precise angles

5. Release Alt when you're satisfied with the rotation

Rounded Rotations

If you prefer snapping to fixed angles instead of smooth rotation, use Alt + Z + mouse wheel. This locks items into rounded rotation increments, making it easier to align items at 90-degree angles or other standard orientations. Switch between fine and rounded rotation depending on whether you want precise freeform angles or clean, aligned positioning.
