Ipla Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I place my first item with Ipla Mod?
Hold the item you want to place in your hand, look at the block surface where you want it, and press V. The item will appear on that surface and you can then rotate or fine-tune its position before confirming placement.
What does quad mode do and how do I use it?
Quad mode lets you display up to 24 items on a single block surface at once. Press Ctrl + V to activate it, then place multiple items in the same area—they'll arrange themselves across the block without overlapping.
How do I rotate items after placing them?
Use Alt + mouse wheel to rotate items smoothly in any direction for precise positioning, or use Alt + Z + mouse wheel for rounded rotations that snap to specific angles.
Can I place items floating in mid-air or do they need a block?
You can place items floating in mid-air—they don't require a solid block beneath them. They'll stay suspended exactly where you position them.
Do placed items disappear when I reload my world?
No, placed items persist after world reloads. Once you've positioned and confirmed an item's placement, it will remain in that exact spot the next time you load your world.
Can I place items on the sides of blocks or only on top?
You can place items on any block surface—walls, floors, ceilings, and all sides. Simply look at the surface you want and press V to place.
What happens if I try to place an item on a block that's already full?
In quad mode, items will arrange themselves across the available space on the block. If you're not in quad mode, you may need to use a different block surface or activate quad mode to display more items in that area.
Can I remove or move a placed item once it's set?
You can interact with placed items to pick them back up or reposition them. The exact method depends on your mod configuration, but typically you can look at the item and use a designated key to retrieve or adjust it.
Does Ipla Mod work with custom items or only vanilla items?
Ipla Mod works with any item in your game, including custom items from other mods. Any item you can hold in your inventory can be placed and displayed on block surfaces.
Will Ipla Mod cause lag if I place lots of items?
Placing many items can impact performance depending on your system, especially if you fill entire areas with displayed items. Start with reasonable amounts and monitor your frame rate if you're placing items extensively.
