Into The Light Enemy Pack Model FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I make the Into The Light enemies actually spawn in my world?
The enemies won't spawn naturally—you need to use MythicMobs commands or spawn them manually with `/mm spawn` followed by the enemy name. Check your MythicMobs configuration to set up spawners or conditions for automatic spawning in specific areas.
What's the difference between the Mirrorer and Hologram Spawner?
The Mirrorer teleports around and creates mirror copies of itself while firing mirror shards at you, while the Hologram Spawner summons fake enemy holograms to confuse you and attacks with mirror-based abilities. The Mirrorer is more about mobility and duplicates, whereas the Hologram Spawner focuses on summoning and deception.
Why can't I see the Into The Light enemies properly?
You need to have the resource pack loaded on your client—check that `into_the_light_resourcepack.zip` is in your resourcepacks folder and enabled in your video settings. Without it, the custom models and animations won't display.
The Beacon Golem's blinding light attack is making it impossible to fight. How do I counter it?
The blinding effect is part of its celestial light attack mechanic; distance yourself when you see it charging, or use blocks to create cover. Refer to the Survive a Beacon Golem Battle guide for specific positioning strategies.
Do these enemies work with other mob plugins or just MythicMobs?
The Into The Light pack is built specifically for MythicMobs and ModelEngine, so they won't function properly with other mob plugins. Make sure both plugins are installed and up to date on your server.
Can I customize the enemy stats or abilities?
Yes—the MythicMobs configuration files in `plugins/MythicMobs/` contain all the enemy definitions and can be edited to adjust health, damage, abilities, and drops. After editing, use `/mm reload` to apply changes without restarting.
What should I bring to fight a Mirrorer?
Refer to the Prepare for a Mirrorer Encounter guide, but generally you'll want ranged weapons to handle its teleporting and multiple copies, plus armor with good protection. Watch for its mirror shard projectiles and be ready to dodge or block frequently.
Are there minions I need to worry about, or just the three main enemies?
The pack includes four supporting minions that fight alongside the main three enemies, so you'll often face them together. The minions are weaker but can overwhelm you if you're not prepared—see the Farm Into The Light Enemies Safely guide for handling groups.
My server is lagging when these enemies spawn. What can I do?
Limit the number of simultaneous spawns, reduce the frequency of ability animations in the ModelEngine config, or lower the render distance for players. The custom models and effects can be performance-intensive, especially with multiple enemies active at once.
Do I need to do anything special after installing the mod files?
After placing files in the correct folders, run `/meg reload` and `/mm reload` to load the new content, or restart your server. If enemies still don't appear or look wrong, verify the resource pack is enabled and both plugins are properly installed.
