Enchanting Integrated Simply Swords Weapons Effectively
Best Enchantments by Weapon Type
Different Simply Swords weapons benefit from different enchantments:
- Fast weapons (Rapier, Sai, Katana): Sharpness, Fire Aspect, Looting, Mending, Unbreaking. Speed pairs well with on-hit effects.
- Heavy weapons (Greathammer, Greataxe, Claymore): Sharpness, Smite or Bane of Arthropods (situational), Unbreaking, Mending. Knockback can help control crowds.
- Polearms (Halberd, Glaive, Spear): Sharpness, Sweeping Edge if applicable, Unbreaking, Mending.
- Scythes: Sweeping Edge and Sharpness maximize the wide arc.
Enchanting Process
Use an enchanting table with bookshelves for random rolls, or better, use an anvil with enchanted books to apply exactly what you want. Combine books on an anvil first to reduce XP cost before applying to the weapon.
Material Synergy
Dragonbone Fire weapons already have fire-themed bonuses — adding Fire Aspect stacks the theme. Necromium weapons benefit from durability-focused enchants since the material is already strong. Dark Metal weapons are flexible; build them around your playstyle.
Priority Order
1. Sharpness (damage)
2. Unbreaking (durability)
3. Mending (sustainability)
4. Situational (Fire Aspect, Looting, Sweeping Edge)
Apply in this order to keep anvil XP costs manageable.
