How to Increase the Structure Block Size Limit Beyond 48 Blocks

Why the Limit Exists

Vanilla Minecraft caps structure blocks at a small size, which is fine for saving a house but useless for saving a castle, a village district, or a custom dungeon. Integrated API raises that ceiling so you can capture much larger builds in a single structure block.

Raising the Limit

1. Place a structure block and open its interface.

2. Switch it to Save mode.

3. Enter your desired size values in the X, Y, and Z fields. With Integrated API installed, the fields accept values far above the vanilla cap instead of clamping them back down.

4. Press Detect to auto-fill the bounding box around your build, or type the dimensions manually.

5. Give the structure a name and save it.

If the block refuses to accept a large value, check that Integrated API is actually loaded alongside your structure mods — the expanded limit comes from this library, not from vanilla. Very large structures take longer to save and produce bigger files, so save in chunks if you hit performance issues. The same expanded range applies when loading structures back into the world.
