Give enchanted tools to new players

Obtaining the enchanted item's NBT

Enchanted tools require NBT data to preserve their enchantments:

1. Craft or obtain an enchanted tool

2. Hold it in your main hand

3. Execute /data get entity @s SelectedItem in chat

4. Copy the entire output to your clipboard

Adding the enchanted tool to configuration

1. Open your Initially Mod config file

2. Create an entry for the desired inventory slot

3. Set the itemLocation to your tool's ID (e.g., minecraft:diamond_pickaxe)

4. Paste the NBT data you copied, but remove the id and count fields

5. Set count to 1 (enchanted tools typically stack at 1)

6. Save the file

Example structure

Your configuration entry should look similar to:

• Slot number
• Item ID
• Count value
• NBT tag containing enchantment data

Restart your server or reload the configuration. New players will now spawn with the enchanted tool in the specified slot.
