Frequently asked questions
How do I make an Infusion Station?
Place one blaze rod in the center slot of a 3×3 crafting grid, then place one stone block in each of the three slots in the bottom row. This crafts the Infusion Station block, which you can place anywhere and right-click to open its GUI.
What do I need to infuse food with potion effects?
You need a potion (in a bottle), blaze powder, the food item you want to infuse, and an empty potion bottle slot. Place the potion and food in their respective GUI slots, add blaze powder as fuel, and the infusion will process.
Why isn't my food infusing?
Make sure you have blaze powder in the fuel slot—it's required for the infusion to work. Also check that your potion bottle is placed correctly in the potion slot and your food item is in the food slot.
How many food items can one potion bottle infuse?
The potion meter in the Infusion Station GUI shows how much of a single potion bottle's charge remains; you can infuse multiple food items until the meter depletes, depending on the potion type and amount.
Can I infuse any food item?
Most food items can be infused, but some may work better than others depending on the mod's configuration. Experiment with different foods to see which ones accept infusions in your setup.
What happens when I eat infused food?
Eating infused food grants you the potion effects that were infused into it, just as if you had drunk the potion directly.
Do I need to use blaze powder every time I infuse?
Yes, blaze powder is consumed as fuel during each infusion process and must be placed in the fuel slot for the infusion to proceed.
Can I infuse food with multiple potion effects at once?
The Infusion Station processes one potion at a time per infusion cycle, so you would need to infuse the same food item multiple times with different potions to stack multiple effects.
Does this mod work with other mods that add food items?
Most modded food items should be compatible with the Infusion Station, though compatibility depends on how those mods define their food items.
Is there a way to make infusions faster or more efficient?
The potion meter shows your efficiency—using higher-level potions or planning which foods to infuse can help you get the most value from each potion bottle before it depletes.
