Understanding Infinity and Mending Interaction

How Infinity Works

Infinity allows you to fire arrows infinitely without consuming them from your inventory. You only need a single arrow in your inventory to use the bow repeatedly. This eliminates the need to farm or carry stacks of arrows.

How Mending Works

Mending repairs your bow's durability whenever you pick up XP orbs. The more XP you collect, the more durability is restored. This prevents your bow from ever breaking through normal use.

Combined Effect

When both enchantments are applied to the same bow, you get the ultimate ranged weapon:

• Infinite arrows: Never run out of ammunition
• Self-repairing: Durability restores passively as you gain XP
• Permanent tool: Your bow becomes a lifelong companion

This combination is particularly powerful for long expeditions, boss fights, or any extended combat scenario where you'd normally need to manage resources carefully.
