Edit Potion Effects and Custom Potions

Opening a Potion in the Editor

Hold a potion, splash potion, or lingering potion and open the Infinity Item Editor. The editor will display potion-specific options including active effects and their durations.

Adding and Modifying Effects

Locate the Potion Effects section. Click Add Effect to introduce a new potion effect. Select the effect type from the list (Strength, Speed, Regeneration, etc.). Set the effect's duration in ticks and its amplifier level (higher amplifier = stronger effect).

You can add multiple effects to a single potion, creating custom combinations not normally available in vanilla Minecraft.

Removing and Finalizing

Delete unwanted effects by clicking the remove button next to each entry. Adjust durations and amplifiers as needed for your custom potion.

Applying Changes

Confirm your edits. The potion will update with your custom effects. When consumed or thrown, the potion will apply all configured effects with their specified durations and strengths. This allows creation of powerful utility potions for survival or creative builds.
