Create a Custom Named Item with Lore

Opening the Item Editor

Hold or select the item you want to customize in your inventory. Open the Infinity Item Editor menu (default keybind varies by setup—check your controls). The item editor window will appear, showing all editable properties of your held item.

Adding Display Name and Lore

Locate the Display Name field and type your custom name. This is what appears in bold above the item tooltip.

Scroll down to find the Lore section. Each line of lore becomes a separate line in the item's tooltip, displayed in gray text below the item name. Click Add Lore Line to create new lines. You can edit, reorder, or delete existing lore entries.

Saving Your Changes

Once satisfied with the name and lore, confirm your edits. The mod will either drop the modified item at your feet or copy a give command to your clipboard, depending on your settings. Pick up the item and check your inventory—your custom name and lore should now display in the tooltip.

You can repeat this process for any item in your inventory or containers.
