Unlock Rare Tier Mobs and New Spawns

Progression Requirements

Rare tier mobs, including unique spawns like the Magician and Alchemist, only appear after you've defeated enough Common and Uncommon mobs. This gate exists to ensure you're prepared for significantly harder encounters.

How to Progress

Focus on farming Common and Uncommon mobs in the cave biomes. Each defeat contributes to your progression score. You can check your current progression by running /scoreboard objectives setdisplay list ic.progression to see it in your tab list.

If you're playing with friends, progression is shared across your group—everyone advances together as you collectively defeat mobs. This means cooperative play naturally unlocks higher tiers faster.

Checking Your Status

Use /function infinity_cave:settings to access the configuration menu and verify your current difficulty and mob behavior settings. If progression feels too slow, you can manually adjust it with /scoreboard players set [PLAYER] ic.progression [AMOUNT], though normal play is intended.

Once you reach Rare tier, expect significantly tougher encounters with more complex mob abilities and better loot drops to help you prepare for Epic and Legendary tiers.
