How to Trade the Same Offer Repeatedly Without It Locking

Understand What Changed

Infinite Trading removes that lock entirely. The trade stays available and you can click it as many times as you have ingredients for.

Trade in Bulk

Open the villager's trade GUI and select the offer you want. Hold the item you are paying with in your hand or have it in your inventory, then shift-click the trade result to craft as many as your materials allow in one go. Because the trade never locks, you can repeat this immediately. If you are buying items with emeralds, make sure you have a large stack of emeralds ready; if you are selling items for emeralds, bring a full inventory of the required item.

Keep the Villager Accessible

Make sure the villager has a valid workstation nearby and is not panicking or unable to pathfind, since those states can still affect whether trades are offered at all. A simple enclosed room with the workstation and a bed is enough. Once the villager is settled, you can trade indefinitely. This is especially useful for converting large amounts of farm output into emeralds or for buying enchanted books, tools, and other villager goods in bulk.
