Whistling to Control Your Pet Group

Instead of managing each pet individually, use the whistle feature to command all nearby pets simultaneously. Press J (default hotkey) to trigger a whistle that affects every tamed pet in range around you.

What the Whistle Does

Whistling serves two purposes depending on your pets' current state:

• Rally pets: Whistled pets will gather toward you and enter following mode
• Dismiss pets: Whistled pets already following you will spread out and return to independent mode

Alternative: Chat Commands

If you're on a server or prefer text input, use /indypets whistle to trigger the same effect. Use /indypets unwhistle to reverse the command and dismiss your pets.

Customizing Your Whistle

If you have Goat Horns in your inventory, you can configure them as custom whistles with personalized settings using /indypets horn. This lets you use a goat horn item instead of the default whistle hotkey.
