Industrial Revolution PT BR Translation Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
Why do I see English text instead of Portuguese?
You need to set your Minecraft language to PT-BR (Português Brasileiro) in the Language & Unicode settings menu. The resource pack only works when this language is selected in-game.
Do I need to install anything else besides the resource pack?
No, this is a resource pack that works with the Industrial Revolution mod you already have installed. Just add it to your resource packs folder and enable it.
What gets translated by this pack?
All item names, block names, machine menus, tooltips, and descriptions from the Industrial Revolution mod are translated to Brazilian Portuguese. Machine upgrade modules and the Modular Bancada workbench are included.
Can I use this with other resource packs?
Yes, but place this translation pack higher in your resource pack list than any conflicting packs so the Portuguese text appears instead of English.
Does this work with multiplayer servers?
Yes, resource packs are client-side only, so you can use this on any server without the server needing to install it.
Will this slow down my game?
No, resource packs have minimal performance impact since they only change text and visuals, not game mechanics.
What if I switch back to English later?
Disable the resource pack or change your language back to English in the Language & Unicode settings, and the mod will display in English again.
Are machine recipes and crafting recipes translated?
The resource pack translates the names and descriptions of items and machines, but the actual crafting recipes and machine processing work the same way as in English.
Do I need to create a new world to use this?
No, you can apply this resource pack to existing worlds at any time by enabling it in your resource pack menu.
What if some text is still in English?
Make sure your language is set to PT-BR and the resource pack is enabled and positioned above other packs in the list. If text is still missing, it may not be translated in this version of the pack.
