Locating the Castle

The Forbidden Castle is one of the largest structures in the Nether. Search across open areas and elevated terrain—it's typically found in more exposed biomes rather than dense forests. Listen for ambient sounds and watch for distinctive architecture rising above the landscape. Bring a bow and plenty of arrows, as well as healing items.

Preparing for Combat

The castle is heavily guarded by Piglins armed with weapons. Wear armor with good protection and bring a shield. Gold armor can help reduce aggression from some Piglins, though combat is still unavoidable. Stock up on food and consider bringing a bed for safe respawning if things go wrong.

Claiming the Loot

Work your way through the castle systematically, clearing rooms as you go. The best loot is typically found in the deepest chambers and treasure rooms. Watch for traps and ambush points—Piglins may attack from multiple directions. Once you've secured the main areas, search for hidden rooms and chests tucked into corners or behind walls. The rewards justify the danger.
