Do I need to start a new world to use this datapack?
Yes, you should create a brand new world for the best experience. If you want to add it to an existing world, you must completely reset your Nether dimension first, or the new biomes and structures won't generate properly.
What's the best way to find structures in the Nether?
Explore different biomes since structures are spread across the eight new areas—the Forbidden Castle favors certain terrain, the Sanctum hides in darker regions, and the Quartz Kitchen appears in lighter zones. Use the biome characteristics as clues to narrow down your search.
How do I get the Trailblazer bow?
The Trailblazer bow is found as loot inside structures throughout the Nether, particularly in the Forbidden Castle and Sanctum. You'll need to defeat the guardians protecting these areas to claim it.
Is the Greatsword of Sacrifice worth using if it has a cost?
The Greatsword of Sacrifice deals very high damage, making it powerful for boss fights and tough enemies. The cost mechanic means you need to decide if the damage output is worth the drawback for your playstyle.
What should I wear to explore the Toxic Heap safely?
Equip the Hazmat Suit to protect yourself from poison attacks from the Toxic Slimes in that area. This makes navigating the Toxic Heap much safer, though you'll still need to watch for other threats.
Can I use this datapack with my existing resource pack?
Yes, but if you want to see custom textures for the new weapons and items, download the optional Sparkles resource pack and enable it alongside your current one.
What's the hardest boss in this datapack?
The Hovering Inferno is the toughest boss encounter and will give you a very difficult fight. Prepare with strong gear and healing items before attempting to defeat it.
Are there any safe areas in the Withered Forest?
The Withered Forest is dark and mysterious with Restless Spirits throughout, so it's inherently dangerous. Bring weapons and be prepared for combat; there are no truly safe zones, but the Sanctum structure within it offers loot as a reward for clearing it.
Can I tame the Ghastling as a pet?
Yes, the Ghastling is a friendly pet you can obtain that will fight off angry Ghasts for you. This makes exploring areas with many Ghasts significantly safer.
Will this datapack cause lag or performance issues?
The datapack adds significant new content with eight biomes and nine structures, so performance depends on your system. If you experience lag, try reducing render distance or disabling the Sparkles resource pack to improve performance.
