Switch Between Improved and Vanilla Sign Editing

Toggle Button Location

The Improved Sign Editing Mod adds a toggle button directly on the sign editing screen. This lets you switch between improved and vanilla editing modes without closing the screen.

How to Switch Modes

1. Right-click a sign to open the editing screen

2. Look for the toggle button (usually near the Done button)

3. Click it to switch between:

• Improved mode: Auto word-wrapping and cross-line deletion
• Vanilla mode: Standard Minecraft sign editing

4. Edit your sign using the active mode

5. Click Done to save

When to Use Each Mode

• Use Improved for longer messages where you want natural text flow
• Use Vanilla if you need precise control over line breaks or prefer the original behavior
• You can toggle back and forth within the same editing session
