Impersonate Another Player

Basic Impersonation

To assume the identity of another player, you'll need access to the impersonate command. This is typically a server operator or admin function.

1. Use the impersonate command with the target player's username

2. Once activated, your skin will change to match theirs

3. Your nameplate will display their name above your head

4. All chat messages will appear to come from that player

5. You'll appear under their name in the player list

Important Limitations

Be aware that pets belonging to the impersonated player will not recognize you—they'll remain loyal only to the actual player. Additionally, server logs maintain a complete record of all actions, so moderators can always trace who performed what action, even while impersonating someone else.

Ending Impersonation

Use the appropriate command to stop impersonating and return to your own identity. Your appearance, nameplate, and chat attribution will revert to normal.
