Immersive Vehicles Trin Part Pack Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

What is the Trin Part Pack mod and does it add cars?
It is a content pack for Immersive Vehicles that adds parts only — engines, seats, wheels, gauges, LEDs, and decors — but no vehicles of its own. You need Immersive Vehicles plus at least one vehicle pack installed for these parts to be usable.
How do I start using Trin Part Pack parts on a car?
Open a vehicle's parts menu with the Immersive Vehicles wrench or GUI and browse the Trin categories to slot parts in. Parts only appear if the vehicle's pack defines compatible slots, so start with a vehicle that supports the part type you want.
Why don't Trin parts show up on my vehicle?
Most likely the vehicle's pack doesn't define a slot for that part type, or the part's category doesn't match the slot. Check the vehicle's part list first, then confirm the Trin part is the right category (engine, wheel, seat, gauge, etc.).
How do I swap an engine for better performance?
Remove the existing engine from the vehicle's engine slot and install the Trin engine you want in the same slot. Different engines trade off top speed, acceleration, and fuel use, so test a few to find one that suits your build.
Do Trin wheels change how the car drives?
Yes — wheels affect grip and handling characteristics, not just looks. Swap them in the wheel slots and drive the vehicle to feel the difference before committing to a set.
How do I install gauges and LEDs so they actually work?
Place gauges and LEDs into their designated decor or gauge slots on the vehicle, then power them through the vehicle's electrical system. If a gauge reads nothing, the sensor or wiring for that value isn't connected.
Can I use Trin seats to make a custom interior layout?
Yes, seats are placed into seat slots and you can arrange multiple seats to build custom layouts like bench rows or rear cabins. Seat count is limited by how many seat slots the vehicle pack defines.
My LEDs and gauges aren't lighting up — what's wrong?
They need power from the vehicle's electrical system and, for gauges, a signal from the relevant sensor. Check that the vehicle has a working battery/alternator setup and that the gauge is wired to the right value.
Is Trin Part Pack compatible with other Immersive Vehicles packs?
It works alongside other IV packs as long as the host vehicle defines slots for the part categories you're installing. Parts are not universal — a Trin engine only fits a vehicle whose pack accepts that engine type.
Will adding lots of Trin parts hurt performance?
Many detailed decors, LEDs, and gauges on a vehicle can add rendering load, especially in large numbers or on servers. If you see lag, reduce the number of decorative parts per vehicle or spread them across fewer vehicles.
