How to Make the Raid Music Play Correctly During a Raid

Trigger a Raid the Normal Way

This mod does not add a new way to start raids; it only reacts to the vanilla raid event. To hear the soundtrack, you must first trigger a real raid. Kill a pillager patrol captain (the one wearing the banner) to receive the Bad Omen effect, then walk into a village while the effect is still active. The moment the raid bar appears at the top of your screen, the custom music should begin.

Check That Music Is Not Being Suppressed

If you hear nothing, the problem is usually your audio settings rather than the mod.

  • Open Options > Music & Sound and make sure the Music slider is above zero. The raid track is treated as music, so muting music mutes it.
  • Turn off any other mod that overrides or replaces the vanilla music manager, since two music mods can fight over the same channel.
  • Leave the village area and re-enter to re-trigger the raid if the music failed to start on the first wave.
  • If you use a resource pack that changes sounds, test with it disabled to confirm it is not replacing the raid track.

Once the raid bar disappears (all waves cleared or the village is lost), the music stops on its own. You do not need to toggle anything manually.
