Making Waypoint and Structure Icons Show Up on Xaero's Maps

Understanding What the Pack Changes

Icon Xaero's Resource Pack swaps the default textures Xaero's Minimap and World Map use for waypoints, structures, entities, and points of interest. It does not create new waypoints or detect structures for you — it only changes how existing markers look. That means if a marker is not appearing at all, the problem is in Xaero's settings, not the resource pack.

Checking the Relevant Xaero's Settings

Open the Xaero's map settings and confirm that waypoints and structure/POI display are enabled. In Xaero's World Map, look for the toggles that control whether structures and other markers render on the map, and make sure they are on. If you recently changed your icon style or theme inside Xaero's options, revert to the default so the resource pack textures are the ones being drawn.

Verifying Load Order and Mod Coverage

If some icons look vanilla and others look custom, another resource pack is overriding part of the set. Move Icon Xaero's Resource Pack above the conflicting pack. Remember that icons tied to a specific mod only appear when that mod is present and generating the relevant markers, so test in an area where you know a structure or waypoint exists.
