How do I get my hopper back from a hopper minecart?
Place the hopper minecart in a crafting grid and it will break back down into a hopper and a minecart. You keep the hopper, but the minecart is consumed in the process.
Does this mod work with chest minecarts?
Yes. Crafting a chest minecart in a crafting grid returns the chest to you, and the minecart is lost. The same one-way salvage rule applies to hopper, TNT and furnace minecarts.
Can I get the minecart back too, or just the container?
Only the container comes back. The minecart itself is always consumed when you reverse the recipe, so plan your crafting with that loss in mind.
How do I separate a chest boat into just a chest?
Put the chest boat in a crafting grid and it will split into a chest and a boat. You get the chest back, but the boat is lost, just like with minecarts.
What do I actually need to do to start using this mod?
Nothing special — just place any supported combined item (hopper minecart, chest minecart, TNT minecart, furnace minecart or chest boat) into a crafting grid. The reverse recipe is available immediately with no extra items required.
Does reversing a TNT minecart give me the TNT back?
Yes, the TNT is returned to you and the minecart is consumed. This lets you recover TNT from minecarts you crafted by mistake.
Can I get my furnace back from a furnace minecart?
Yes. Crafting the furnace minecart in a grid returns the furnace, and the minecart is lost in the process.
Is this mod compatible with other mods that add minecarts or boats?
The mod only handles the vanilla hopper, chest, TNT and furnace minecarts plus chest boats. Custom minecarts or boats from other mods generally won't be reversible unless that mod adds its own support.
Will this mod cause lag or performance problems on my server?
No. It only adds crafting grid recipes, so there is no ongoing tick cost or world generation impact — performance is effectively identical to vanilla.
What's the most common mistake people make with this mod?
Assuming you get both items back. Remember the rule: you recover the container (hopper, chest, TNT or furnace) but always lose the minecart or boat, so don't mass-craft combined items expecting a full refund.
