How Food Healing Works

With Hunger Strike enabled, eating food no longer restores hunger—instead, it instantly restores health based on the food's nutritional value. The health restored is approximately half the hunger value the food would normally provide.

Examples

• A cookie restores half a heart
• A cooked porkchop restores two hearts
• A golden apple restores significantly more health

Steps to Heal

1. Open your inventory and select any food item

2. Right-click to eat (or hold right-click to consume multiple items)

3. Health restores instantly—no hunger bar depletion occurs

4. Continue eating until your health bar is full

Strategy Tips

Since health regeneration is disabled, you must actively eat to recover from damage. Keep food in your hotbar during combat or exploration. The mod makes food management more critical to survival, so stock up before dangerous activities.
