Hrda Valorant Plugin FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I start a Valorant match on my server?
First, use /val setlobby to mark your main spawn point, then /val setwaitlobby for the pre-game waiting area. Set up your map with /val setattackers and /val setdefenders for team spawns, plus /val setplanta and /val setplantb for bomb sites. Once configured, players can join and the match will begin when enough players are ready.
What's the difference between Normal, Swiftplay, and Ranked matches?
Normal matches follow standard Valorant rules with full economy and round structure. Swiftplay is a faster, shorter version for quicker games. Ranked matches track your competitive rating and update your position on the leaderboard from Iron to Radiant based on match performance.
How does the buy phase economy work?
Players earn credits by winning rounds, getting kills, and planting/defusing the Spike. During the buy phase, you spend credits on weapons and shields before each round starts. Light and Heavy shields provide different levels of damage reduction and cost different amounts.
Why can't I use my agent's abilities?
Most agent abilities require ultimate points, which you build up by getting kills and defusing the Spike during the match. Once you have enough ultimate charge, your ability becomes available—check your HUD to see your current progress.
How do I plant and defuse the Spike correctly?
Attackers must reach a plant zone (A or B) and stand still to plant the Spike—you'll see a real-time progress bar. Defenders can interrupt the plant or defuse it after it's placed by standing in the zone during the defuse window.
What does Iso's duel arena do and how do I set it up?
Iso can pull enemies into a private 1v1 arena where only those two players fight. Use /val isoult iso to set where Iso spawns inside the arena and /val isoult enemy to set the enemy spawn point.
Can I see player ranks and credits on my scoreboard?
Yes, the mod integrates with PlaceholderAPI, so you can display player ranks, credits, and active agents on custom scoreboards if PlaceholderAPI is installed on your server.
Do teams switch sides during a match?
Yes, teams automatically swap between attackers and defenders at half-time to ensure balanced competitive play.
What happens if I die as Jett or Phoenix?
Jett dies permanently each round. Phoenix can mark a spot before dying and revive at that location if her ability is active. Other agents like Sage and Clove have their own revival mechanics—check each agent's ability description.
Why is my leaderboard not showing player ranks?
Make sure PlaceholderAPI is installed and running on your server, and that your scoreboard is configured to display the rank placeholders. The mod tracks ratings automatically, but the display depends on your scoreboard setup.
