How do I change my nickname and skin at the same time?
Type /nick in chat to instantly change both your displayed name and character skin together. The skin will automatically match a player profile with that name if one exists on the server or network.
Can I get a random disguise instead of picking one myself?
Yes, use /nick random to generate a random nickname and matching skin combination instantly. You can also use /nick random to give a random disguise to someone else if you have admin permissions.
How do I find out who a disguised player really is?
Use /nick whois to reveal the original username of any nicked player. You need hrdanick.admin permission to use this command.
What happens to my real name when I use a nickname?
Your original username is stored by the plugin and hidden from other players, but server staff can look it up anytime with /nick whois. When you reset your nick with /nick reset, your real name and skin return immediately.
Do nicknames work in tab list and chat?
Yes, the plugin ensures your disguised name appears correctly in the tab list, chat messages, and even in command tab completion. This makes the disguise work seamlessly across all server displays.
Can I teleport to a player using their nickname?
Yes, nicknames work with standard teleport commands like /tp, so you can teleport directly to a disguised player using their current nickname instead of their real username.
How do I remove all nicknames from the server at once?
Use /nick resetall to clear every active nickname on the server and return all players to their original names and skins. This command requires hrdanick.admin permission.
What's the difference between /nick reset and /nick resetall?
/nick reset removes only your own nickname (or a specific player's if you're admin), while /nick resetall removes all active nicknames from every player on the server at once.
