What does the Horse Expert Mod do?
It shows you a horse's statistics, such as speed, jump height, and health, so you can pick a good steed. To see the stats you must craft and equip a

Yes. By default stats are only visible for tamed horses, but this and other options can be changed in the mod's configuration file.
How do I configure Horse Expert on Fabric?
In-game config editing is not implemented on Fabric. Instead, while in a world run /config showfile choosing CLIENT or SERVER, click the .toml file name in chat to edit it, and the config reloads automatically a couple of seconds after saving.
How do I configure Horse Expert on Forge?
Install the Config Menus for Forge mod and you can configure Horse Expert directly in-game.
