Place Reinforced Deepslate in All Four Horizontal Directions

Understanding Directional Placement

When you place a Reinforced Deepslate block in this mod, its orientation depends on which face of an existing block you click on. Unlike vanilla Reinforced Deepslate, which only faces upward, the horizontal variants let you build in four directions.

How to Place Blocks in Each Direction

1. North/South/East/West orientation: Hold your Reinforced Deepslate block and look at the side face of an existing block

2. Click on the north-facing side to place it facing north

3. Click on the south-facing side to place it facing south

4. Click on the east-facing side to place it facing east

5. Click on the west-facing side to place it facing west

Tips for Precise Building

  • Use the crosshair in the center of your screen to target the exact face you need
  • Sneak (hold Shift) while placing to avoid accidentally replacing blocks
  • Build a temporary scaffold of placeholder blocks if you need to access hard-to-reach faces
  • The block's texture will visually indicate which direction it's facing once placed
