Explore Natural Terrain Without Visual Obstruction
What Changes With This Data Pack
The Horizon Relief Data Pack removes Obelisk monuments from generating, giving you clear sightlines across your world. Instead of towering dark stone structures breaking up the landscape, you'll see natural biome transitions, hills, and terrain features uninterrupted.
How to Experience Open Landscapes
1. Travel to high elevation points—mountains, plateaus, or tall hills
2. Look toward the horizon in all directions
3. You should see natural terrain features: forests, valleys, water bodies, and biome boundaries
4. Fly or climb higher to appreciate the wide-open views the data pack enables
Building and Exploration Benefits
With clear horizons, you can:
- Plan large building projects without working around massive structures
- Navigate more easily by using natural landmarks
- Take better screenshots and explore without visual clutter
- Build bases in locations you prefer rather than around fixed monuments
The removal is complete—no Obelisks will spawn anywhere in newly generated terrain once the data pack is active.
