Integrate Horizon Reach with Xaero's World Map

Enable map writing on your client

If you have Xaero's World Map installed, you can bridge distant server terrain directly into your map without exploring every chunk. Run /vssclient xaero enable on your client to start writing terrain data to Xaero's map files.

Understand the integration

With this feature enabled, the distant LOD terrain sent by the server populates your Xaero's World Map automatically. This saves time and lets you see the full landscape layout immediately upon joining, even in areas you haven't visited.

Refresh map data if needed

If the map becomes outdated or you want fresh terrain data from the server, use /vssclient xaero reload. This clears your local map records and re-requests terrain data from the server, ensuring your map reflects current world changes.

Disable if not needed

To stop writing to Xaero's map, run /vssclient xaero disable.
