Hoarders Questline Mod FAQ

10 questions players actually ask, answered.

How do I create my first item list?
Open the mod's interface (default keybind varies by installation) and select 'New List'. Give your list a name like 'Survival Base' or 'Farm Materials', then start adding items by searching for them by name or ID in the search bar.
Does the tracker count items in my ender chest?
No, the tracker only counts items in your inventory, open containers you can see on screen, shulker boxes, and bundles. Ender chests and other closed storage are not tracked.
Can I track the same item in multiple lists at once?
Yes, you can add the same item to different lists for different projects, and each list will show its own progress independently.
Why isn't my list saving between game sessions?
Lists are saved per world by default. Make sure you're loading the same world and singleplayer save file where you created the list—lists don't carry over between different worlds.
How do I move my tracker to a different part of the screen?
Click and drag the list directly on your screen to reposition it. You can place it anywhere that doesn't block your view of important gameplay elements.
Can I change the colors of my tracker?
Yes, open the list's settings to customize text color, background color, transparency, and scale. You can also adjust the number of columns to fit your screen layout.
What happens if I search for an item that doesn't exist?
The search bar will show no results. Double-check the item's exact name or ID—you can hover over items in your inventory to see their IDs if you're unsure.
Does the mod work in multiplayer servers?
The mod tracks items from your own inventory and containers you open, so it works on servers, but it only counts what you personally have access to—not shared storage or other players' items.
Can I delete a list I don't need anymore?
Yes, open the list and look for a delete or remove option in its settings. Deleted lists cannot be recovered, so make sure you're done with it first.
Does the tracker slow down my game?
The mod is designed to be lightweight and shouldn't cause noticeable performance issues, but having many large lists with hundreds of items open at once may have a minor impact depending on your system.
