Ancient Debris spawns most frequently at specific depths in the Nether. Focus your mining efforts in these zones, and the blue highlight will make your search much faster. You can mine more efficiently because you're not second-guessing whether a block is Ancient Debris or just another piece of Netherrack.

Combining with Lava Lake Clearing

When clearing around lava lakes, the blue highlight is invaluable. Lava creates shadows and visual noise that can hide vanilla Ancient Debris. With the bright blue color, blocks remain visible even near lava sources. This makes previously risky or tedious mining spots much more manageable and rewarding.
