Adjusting to the Blue Color in Different Lighting

Understanding Visibility in Various Nether Biomes

The blue highlight performs differently depending on your surroundings. In standard Netherrack areas, the contrast is sharp and easy to spot. However, in biomes with different block colors—like areas with Blackstone or Warped forests—the blue may blend differently. Adjust your expectations based on your current location.

Optimize Your Torch Placement

Place torches strategically to illuminate large sections of the Nether. The bright blue Ancient Debris becomes even more visible under direct light. If you're mining in very dark caverns, the blue still stands out, but adding more light sources ensures you won't miss any blocks in shadowy corners.

Use Gamma/Brightness Settings if Needed

If you find the blue blocks hard to spot despite good lighting, check your in-game brightness settings. Increasing gamma or brightness slightly can enhance the contrast further, making the blue pop even more against the red Netherrack. This is a personal preference—experiment to find what works best for your eyes.
