Understand Fallback Art When High-Resolution Images Aren't Available

What Happens With Missing High-Resolution Art

This pack replaces vanilla paintings with high-definition original artwork. However, some paintings may not have finished high-resolution versions yet. When this occurs, the pack automatically uses 64x Faithful style art as a temporary replacement.

Why This Matters

The 64x Faithful fallback maintains visual consistency across your builds. Instead of seeing blurry vanilla art alongside crisp new paintings, you get a uniform, sharp appearance throughout. The Faithful style is clean and detailed, so the transition between finished and in-progress artwork remains visually cohesive.

What You'll See

When you place a painting, it will display either the new high-resolution original art or the 64x Faithful backup—both are significantly clearer than default Minecraft paintings. Over time, as more high-resolution images are completed, paintings you've already placed may update to the final artwork automatically when you reload your world or resource pack.
