How to Read the Crop-Ready Markers in Hey! Your Crops Are Ready
What the markers mean
This pack does not add new blocks or items — it changes the textures shown above a plant once that plant is fully grown and safe to harvest. When a crop reaches maturity, a floating indicator appears above it. For most crops this is a bouncing exclamation mark, and for kelp it is a flower instead. The marker is purely visual, so it has no effect on growth speed, drops, or hitboxes.
Using the markers while farming
1. Walk along your rows and watch for the indicator to appear above a plant.
2. Treat any plant showing the marker as ready — break or right-click it as you normally would for that crop.
3. Ignore plants with no marker; they are still growing and harvesting them early wastes the seed or sapling.
4. For kelp, look for the flower marker rather than the exclamation mark, since kelp uses its own texture.
Practical tips
The markers sit above the plant, so they remain visible even in dense, tightly packed farms where the crop itself is hard to see. This makes it easy to scan a large field at a glance and only stop at the plants that are actually done. If a marker seems to be missing on a plant you expect to be grown, check that the plant is truly at its final growth stage — the pack only flags fully mature crops.
