Hey! Your Crops Are Ready Resource Pack FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I know which crops are ready to harvest with this pack?
Look for a bouncing exclamation mark floating above a crop — that means it's fully grown and ready to pick. Kelp and a few special crops use a flower marker instead of the exclamation mark.
Does this resource pack work on servers or only in singleplayer?
It works anywhere the pack is applied on your client, including multiplayer servers, since it only changes visuals. Other players won't see the markers unless they also have the pack enabled.
Why don't I see any markers above my crops?
Make sure the pack is actually enabled and placed above the default pack in your resource pack list. Also check that you're looking at fully grown crops — markers only appear when a crop is ready to harvest.
Does the marker show up on every crop type?
It covers the standard farmable crops like wheat, carrots, potatoes, and beetroot, plus special ones like kelp. Each crop uses the marker style the pack assigns to it, so kelp shows a flower rather than an exclamation mark.
Can I use this pack together with other resource packs?
Yes, but load order matters — put this pack above any pack that also changes crop textures so the markers aren't overwritten. If markers disappear after adding another pack, move this one higher in the list.
Will this pack hurt my FPS or performance?
It only swaps a few textures and adds small marker sprites, so the performance impact is negligible even on large farms. If you notice lag, it's more likely from the number of entities or chunks loaded, not this pack.
How do I use the markers to harvest a big farm faster?
Scan your field for the bouncing exclamation marks and only walk to those blocks, skipping anything without a marker. This lets you clear a full farm in one pass instead of checking each plant individually.
Why does kelp show a flower instead of an exclamation mark?
Kelp is a special crop in this pack, so it gets its own marker style — a flower — to distinguish it from regular land crops. The flower still means the same thing: it's ready to harvest.
Do the markers work with modded crops from other mods?
Only crops the pack has textures for will show markers, so most modded crops won't get them unless the pack explicitly supports them. Vanilla crops and kelp are the main ones covered.
Do I need to install anything else for the markers to appear?
No — it's a resource pack, so enabling it in your resource pack settings is all that's needed. There's no separate mod or dependency required.
