Open a Wiki Page for Any Block or Item

Using the Crosshair Method

The quickest way to look up information about something in your world:

1. Point your crosshair at the block or entity you want to learn about

2. Press H (or your custom keybind)

3. A popup window will appear with a link to the wiki page

4. Click the link to open the wiki in your browser

Looking Up Items in Your Inventory

To check an item without pointing at it in the world:

1. Open your inventory

2. Hover your mouse over the item

3. Press H

4. The wiki page for that item will open

This works for items in any inventory screen—your main inventory, chests, crafting tables, and more.

Checking Your Main Hand Item

For the item currently in your hand:

1. Press Alt + H (or ⌥ Opt + H on Mac)

2. The wiki page for your held item opens immediately

No need to open your inventory—this is the fastest way to look up what you're holding.
