Changing the Default Keybinds

The mod comes with default keybinds, but you can customize them:

1. Open your Minecraft controls settings

2. Look for the Hey Wiki Mod keybind section

3. Rebind H (point-and-look) to your preferred key

4. Rebind B (search screen) to your preferred key

5. Rebind Alt + H (main hand item) if desired

6. Save and close settings

Choosing Comfortable Keybinds

• Pick keys you won't accidentally press during gameplay
• Avoid conflicts with other mods' keybinds
• Consider keys near your movement keys for quick access
• Test your new binds in-game before relying on them

Remembering Your Keybinds

Once set, your custom keybinds are saved automatically. If you forget which key opens the search screen, you can always check your controls menu again. Write them down or create a quick reference if you're using multiple mods with many keybinds.
