Hearty Meals Mod removes the hunger bar entirely and repositions the armor bar to where the hunger bar used to be. Look for your armor durability indicator in its new location on your screen.

You no longer need to manage saturation or hunger levels. Food simply heals health directly—no more waiting for hunger to drop before health regenerates naturally. This makes healing more straightforward and predictable.

Adjusting Your Playstyle

Without a hunger bar, you can't judge your food reserves by looking at a meter. Instead, rely on your inventory count and keep high-value foods accessible. Eat when damaged rather than preemptively eating to maintain saturation.

Visual Feedback

Pay attention to the health bar overlay that appears when you eat. It shows exactly how much healing is incoming, replacing the information the hunger bar used to provide.
