How to Reduce HUD Clutter When Many Entities Are Nearby
Why the HUD Gets Busy
Health Indicator TXF draws a panel for every entity you look at, and in crowded situations — a mob farm, a village, a raid — several panels can stack or overlap. The fix is almost always in the config, where you control what the panel contains and when it appears.
Trimming What Is Displayed
Open the config and look for toggles covering the name, the armor readout, the numeric health value, and the bar. Turning off the numeric value and keeping only the bar removes a line of text from every panel. If you rarely care about armor, disable the armor display entirely so each panel is shorter. Some setups also let you hide the panel for entities at full health, which keeps the screen clear until something is actually damaged.
Managing Range and Overlap
If panels from distant mobs are distracting, check whether the config limits display to entities within a certain distance or only to the entity directly under your crosshair. Restricting to the crosshair target is the cleanest option for combat, while a short range works better for scanning a pen of animals. After changing these, walk through a dense area and confirm the panels no longer overlap. If they still do, disable the name line first — it is usually the widest element.
