Track Boss Health During Combat

Enable and Position the Health Meter

Boss fights are intense—you need health information visible without distraction. Press H to toggle the health indicator on, then press I to open settings. Adjust the scale slider to make the meter large enough to read during fast-paced combat, but not so large it blocks your view of attack patterns.

Optimize for Boss Visibility

In the settings menu, switch to Bar mode for clearest health tracking on high-HP targets. Bars fill smoothly and are easier to read than stacked hearts on tough enemies. Enable the critical health flash option so the meter changes color and shakes when the boss drops to low health—this gives you a visual warning without looking away from the fight.

If the meter appears too high or low on screen, use Page Up or Page Down to reposition it to your preferred height. Test the position against a practice mob before engaging the actual boss.

Handle Armor Display

Press J to show armor values if the boss wears protection. This helps you gauge how much damage you're actually dealing versus what armor is blocking.
