How do I turn on the health indicator?
Press H in-game to toggle the health indicator on and off. You'll see health meters appear above mobs and players when it's active.
Why can't I see health bars above mobs?
The mod hides meters until you look directly at a target or hit it in combat. If you still don't see them, check that the indicator is toggled on with H and that the mob isn't on your blacklist in the settings menu.
How do I show armor values?
Press J to toggle the armor indicator on and off. When enabled, you'll see equipped defense values and absorption hearts displayed alongside regular health.
Can I change how the health bars look?
Yes—press I to open the settings menu where you can switch between three display styles (hearts, numbers, or bars), customize colors for fills and text, and adjust the scale and position of indicators.
What do the different display modes show?
Icons mode shows vanilla-style heart and shield rows; Numeric mode displays exact health values or current/maximum hit points; Bar mode shows filled progress bars with optional labels and segments.
How do I move the health indicator position on screen?
Use Page Up to move indicators higher or Page Down to move them lower. You can also adjust horizontal offsets in the settings menu opened with I.
Why do health bars flash and shake?
The mod automatically shakes and flashes warning colors when a target drops to critical health levels, helping you spot dangerous situations during combat.
Can I hide health bars for specific mobs or players?
Yes—the mod includes separate blacklist filters in the settings menu where you can add specific mob types or player names to exclude from health tracking.
Do status effects like poison or wither change the indicator?
Yes, the mod changes icon colors when mobs suffer from poison, wither, or freezing status effects so you can identify afflicted targets at a glance.
How does the mod handle invisible mobs?
Invisible mobs stay hidden unless they're wearing armor pieces, in which case the armor will display and reveal their location.
