Handle Missing or Pixelated Characters
Understand Language Limitations
HD Font supports fewer languages than Minecraft's default font. Accented letters, special characters, and non-Latin scripts may appear pixelated or fail to render properly because the Glacial Indifference typeface doesn't include all Unicode glyphs.
Workarounds
For chat and signs: Avoid typing accented characters (é, ñ, ü) or characters from unsupported languages. Stick to standard Latin letters, numbers, and common punctuation.
For book text: If you're writing books with special characters, consider using plain ASCII alternatives or switching back to the default font temporarily.
For other languages: If your game language is set to one with heavy diacritical marks or non-Latin scripts, switch to English or another well-supported language while using this pack.
When to Disable
If readability becomes a problem, temporarily disable HD Font and use the default font. You can re-enable it anytime without losing progress.
