Customize Font Appearance Across Different Minecraft Versions
Check Your Version Compatibility
HD Font officially supports Minecraft 1.13 and above. Before customizing, verify your game version matches this requirement—older versions won't load the resource pack correctly.
Adjust Font Rendering
While the font file itself cannot be edited without repackaging, you can modify how it appears:
1. Check your resource pack's assets/minecraft/font/ folder
2. The default.json file controls font properties
3. Adjusting line height or character spacing here affects text display (requires reloading)
Version-Specific Behavior
Newer Minecraft versions (1.16+) render fonts more smoothly than older ones. If text looks jagged on 1.13–1.15, this is normal—upgrade your game version for better font rendering quality.
Reset to Defaults
If customization breaks text display, delete your modified files and reinstall the pack to restore the original Glacial Indifference appearance.
