Giving Items to a Player with a Full Inventory

What the Mod Does

When you sneak-right-click a player, the mod tries to place your main-hand stack into their inventory. If there is no room, the items are dropped at the recipient's feet rather than at yours. This is deliberate: the recipient is standing where the drop appears, so they can pick it up immediately.

Before You Hand Over

If you know the recipient is full, warn them first. Ask them to clear a slot or open a container so the stack goes straight into their inventory instead of onto the ground. This avoids items sitting on the floor where they can be lost to despawn or picked up by someone else.

After the Handover

If the drop appears at their feet, tell them to pick it up right away. On a busy server, another player walking past can grab dropped items.

Alternative: Use a Container

For large or valuable transfers to a full player, place a chest or use an existing container and let them empty it at their convenience. This keeps the items secure and avoids relying on ground drops.
