GWarp Plugin FAQ
10 questions players actually ask, answered.
How do I create my first warp?
Stand at the location you want to warp to, then use `/gwarp set ` to create it. The warp is now public by default and other players can teleport to it using `/gwarp `.
What's the difference between warps and homes?
Warps are public locations that anyone can visit, while homes are private locations only you can access. You can set unlimited warps and homes, but homes won't appear on the warp list or toplist.
How do I make a warp private so only I can use it?
Use `/gwarp lock ` to prevent other players from teleporting to that warp. You can still access it, but others will be blocked.
Can I add a message that shows when players warp to my location?
Yes, use `/gwarp welcome ` to set a custom welcome message that displays to players when they arrive at your warp.
How do I protect a warp with a password?
Use `/gwarp password ` to set a password. Other players will need to enter this password before they can teleport to that warp.
What is the Safe-Warp feature and why would I use it?
Safe-Warp prevents players from warping into dangerous locations like lava, water, or suffocation blocks. When enabled in the config, warps only work if the destination is a safe solid block with air above it.
How do I see which warps are most popular?
Use `/gwarp top` to view the warp toplist, which shows the most visited warps ranked by visitor count. You can also check individual warp statistics with `/gwarp list`.
Can I customize the teleport effects like particles and sounds?
Yes, the plugin is fully customizable through the config files. You can adjust warp cooldowns, particle effects, teleport sounds, and many other settings without modifying the plugin itself.
What happens if I use `/gwarp update` on an existing warp?
`/gwarp update ` changes the warp's location to your current position while keeping all other settings like the name, password, and welcome message intact.
Why can't other players see my warp in the list?
Your warp might be locked with `/gwarp lock`, set as a private home instead of a public warp, or the player might not have permission to view it. Check that you created it with `/gwarp set` rather than as a home.
